Congratulations to undergraduate seniors, Dan Kluger and Vittorio Orlandi for receiving the inaugural undergraduate prizes in Statistics and Data Science.
Dan Kluger was honored with the S&DS Senior Award for his exemplary scholarship and outstanding leadership in statistics and data science. Vittorio received the S&DS Best Thesis Award for his outstanding work on his senior project “Longitudinal Analysis of Parkinson’s Disease via Mixture Modeling.”
Congratulations also go out to Jason Kluger, PhD 2018 for receiving the 2017 Anscombe Prize for Academic Excellence in Statistics, Anderson Ye, PhD 2018 for the 2018 Anscombe Prize for Academic Excellence and to William (David) Brinda, PhD 2018 who received the Leonard Jimmie Savage Writing prize in Statistics.
